This section covers exit signals based on OVTLYR sell signals and the fear and greed heat map.
● A new OVTLYR sell signal is an exit point
○ If in a trade and a sell signal appears, exit the trade
● Before entering a trade, check the fear and greed heat map
○ Don’t expect the stock to run forever
○ The more greedy a stock gets, the more likely it is to snap back
Fear and Greed Exit Levels:
● If fear level is 0 to 50, look to exit at 63
○ This is based on backtested data
● If entry is between 50 and 75, use a 10-point spread
○ Example: enter at 55 → exit at 65
● If entry is over 75, use a 5-point spread
○ The further it goes, the more likely it is to snap back
Heat Map Reversal:
● If the fear and greed heat map stalls or reverses, exit the trade
○ Example:
■ 82.54 → 82.43 → 82.39 → 80.99
■ It peaks and starts to come back down
○ The day it stops and reverses is an exit signal
