Where do I go to see Chris’s trades?
Inside the OVTLYR Discord, head to the #ovtlyr-trading-room channel. That’s where Chris shares trade ideas, entries, exits, and setups in real time. He always tags @everyone in the #ovtlyr-trading-room channel when he posts a new trade setup or execution. That way, you’ll get a push notification straight to you.
To enable notifications for mentions (especially @everyone) in Discord, follow these steps:
On Desktop (Windows/Mac)
- Open Discord and click on the OVTLYR server from your server list (left sidebar).
- At the top-left of the channel list, click the server name ("OVTLYR") to open a dropdown.
- Select "Notification Settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Under "Server Notification Settings", choose:
○ "Only @mentions" (or "All Messages" if you want full notifications - Scroll down to:
○ Suppress @everyone and @here
○ Make sure this toggle is OFF (so you will get notified when someone uses @everyone or @here). - Click "Done" at the bottom to save your settings.
On Mobile (iOS/Android)
- Open the Discord app and tap on the OVTLYR server.
- Tap the three dots (…) in the top-right corner.
- Tap "Notifications".
- Under "Server Notification Settings", select:
○ "Only @mentions" (or "All Messages") - Look for:
○ "Suppress @everyone and @here"
○ Toggle this OFF to receive those mention notifications. - Back out to save the changes.
How do I enable notifications in OVTLYR?
To receive timely alerts on market movements, follow these steps to set up your notifications:
1. Enable Notifications for Your Watchlist
○ Go to the Watchlist page.
○ Click the bell icon at the top.
○ A popup will appear then select your preferred alert types (e.g., Buy/Sell signals).
○ Click Update to activate your settings.
2. Enable Notifications for Individual Stocks
○ On your Watchlist, click the bell icon next to any specific stock.
○ Customize alerts for that particular stock (e.g., price movements, signals).
3. Where Will I See Alerts?
○ Alerts are delivered via email.
○ You can also view them under the Notifications tab in your dashboard.
4. Not Receiving Emails?
○ Be sure to check your spam or junk folder in case the alerts were filtered there.
How do I join the OVTLYR Discord community?

Is it possible for OVTLYR to have a black background?
Yes! You can switch OVTLYR to a black (dark mode) background. Here’s how:
1. Click the Settings button at the bottom of the left panel.
2. Toggle the Theme switch to dark mode (moon icon).
3. Your background will automatically switch to black.
Where can I find channels for custom script sharing like Think or Swim or TradingView?
To access all script-sharing channels, first make sure you can see every available channel in the server:
1. Click the dropdown arrow next to the server name at the top left.
2. In the menu, check “Show All Channels”.
3. Scroll down to the TRADING category.
4. Open #tradingview-pine-scripts – for Pine Script and TradingView tools.
5. Open #think-or-swim-scripts – for Think or Swim scripts, setups, and indicators.
These are the dedicated spaces where members share and collaborate on custom trading scripts.
